DURHAM – The Duke volleyball team secured its ninth straight victory with a 3-0 sweep (25-16, 25-21, 25-14) over Harvard Saturday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
How it Happened
- Freshman Taylor Atkinson helped guide the Blue Devils to the victory as she led the team with 14 kills and only three errors to post a .355 hitting percentage. She also led the team in aces (four) and added two blocks in her all-around performance.
- Senior setter Camille Nazor reached the 1,000-assist plateau with 32 assists and now owns 1,006 career dimes. She also tied her career high in aces (three) and added three blocks.
- Nikki Underwood led the defensive unit with 10 digs, followed by Sydney Yap with eight. Senior Lizzie Fleming notched seven blocks while Rylie Kadel collected four at the net.
- Duke came out with a .231 hitting percentage in the first set and used its block to its advantage with eight total blocks, led by Kadel, Fleming and Georgia Stavrinides with two apiece.
- Fleming and Nazor combined for six kills and no errors and each tallied two blocks in the second to take a 2-0 lead heading into the third.
- Atkinson came out on fire in the third with eight kills to hit .500 while rookie Kerry Keefe came off the bench to add a career-high five for a .714 clip. As a team, Duke hit .419 to close out the match.

- Duke improved to 9-2 with its ninth straight win.
- It was head coach Jolene Nagel's 676th career victory and her 472nd at the helm of the Blue Devils.
- Duke's nine straight wins are the best in program history since 2014 when the team won 10 in a row.
- The Blue Devils move to 2-0 all-time against the Crimson.
- Freshman Sydney Tomlak made her first career start as a Blue Devil.
- Duke hit .326 percent for the match and limited Harvard to a .000 clip.
