DURHAM – The Duke men's and women's soccer programs held a media availability on Monday morning with members of the local media as the Blue Devils prepare for the opening of the 2022 season.

The men's program enters the season ranked No. 12 nationally, which is the highest preseason ledger since 2019, after coming off a 14-5-1 record and finishing as ACC Co-Coastal Division Champions. The Blue Devils feature two remaining exhibition contests Aug. 16 and Aug. 19 at home in Koskinen Stadium, before opening the season Aug. 26 versus San Diego at 7:30 p.m., in Durham.
The women's program is preseason ranked No. 2, after turning in a 16-4-1 ledger and an appearance in the NCAA quarterfinals. The Blue Devils welcome back eight starters and 18 letterwinners from a season ago. Duke opens the regular season on Thursday, Aug. 18 at East Carolina at 7 p.m., live on ESPN+.
