DURHAM – Four members of the Duke women's golf team have received Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar accolades following the 2021-22 campaign. Juniors
Megan Furtney and
Erica Shepherd, sophomore
Phoebe Brinker and freshman
Rylie Heflin were honored.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics as student-athletes must hold a minimum of a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50.
Both Furtney and Shepherd received honors for the third straight year, while Brinker earned the distinction for the second consecutive season.
Duke has received three or more selections in each of the last seven seasons.
All four Blue Devils were also recently tabbed to the ACC Honor Roll as well.
