GREENSBORO -- Duke University collected a league-record 632 student-athletes on the 66th annual ACC Honor Roll released Friday by the league office. The Blue Devils have led the conference in ACC Honor Roll selections in 34 of the past 35 years.
The ACC Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. The 5,791 recognized this year bettered the previous league mark of 5,611 set in 2019-20.
More than 80 percent of Duke's enrolled student-athletes were named to the Honor Roll as the Blue Devils led all schools with their conference-record 632 Honor Roll student-athletes. Notre Dame placed 522 on the list, followed by Virginia (465), Boston College (436), North Carolina (421) and Louisville (417) each had more than 400 student-athletes earn recognition.
Duke also boasted 25 five-time selections to lead all schools, including Rachel Crabtree (softball), Cameron Badour (lacrosse), Catriona Barry 5 (lacrosse), Matt Chmil (lacrosse), Sydney Cikovic (rowing), Katie Cosgrove (lacrosse), Chris Crabtree (baseball), Matt Dockman (baseball), Ben Frye (football/wrestling), Chase Henriquez (lacrosse), Lauren Hoffman (track & field), Jackson Hubbard (football), Jameson Kavel (softball), Abby Landry (lacrosse), Cameron Mulé (lacrosse), Lily Posternak (field hockey), Michaela Reinhart (cross country/track & field), Joe Robertson (lacrosse), Josh Romine (cross country/track & field), Payton Schwantz (volleyball), Peyton St. George (softball), John Taylor (football), Will Taylor (football), Qi wen Wong (golf), Hannah Zhao (tennis).
