COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) recognized 11 Duke student-athletes for their hard work and dedication to strength training and conditioning.
Duke's honorees for NSCA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year were
Harel Anolick (swimming & diving),
Kevin Chao (fencing),
Nick Dahl (cross country/track & field),
Josh Finesilver (wrestling),
Matt Finesilver (wrestling),
Kristina Foreman (softball),
Peyton St. George (softball),
Alex Gorman (fencing),
Maddy Pfaff (swimming & diving),
Michaela Reinhart (cross country/track & field) and
Kaden Russell (wrestling).
"The Duke sports performance staff is proud to recognize the following student-athletes for their commitment to excellence in the areas of strength and conditioning," assistant director of sports performance/Olympic sports
Alex Merrill said. "These individuals go above and beyond the expectations set by their sports performance coach, and we are proud to call them NSCA All-Americans."
The All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year Award program recognizes those collegiate and high school athletes whose athletic accomplishments reflect their dedication to strength training and conditioning.
