DURHAM – The No. 12 Duke women's tennis team (3-1) hits the road for the first of three straight dual matches, beginning with a trip to Greenville, S.C. for a matchup with the Furman Paladins on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m.

Furman features two ranked singles players on its 2022 roster – senior Julia Adams (No. 45) and freshman Sara Snyder (No. 65).
The Paladins are coming off a split trip at the Durham region of ITA Kickoff Weekend. Furman dropped its opening round match to then 17th-ranked Oklahoma (4-1) but was able to bounce back in the consolation match with a 4-1 victory over Nebraska.

No. 12 Duke enters the matchup after going 1-1 during ITA Kickoff Weekend. The host Blue Devils kicked off the two-day event with a dominant 4-0 sweep of Nebraska to advance to the championship match against then No. 17 Oklahoma. Duke gave a valiant effort against the Sooners, before ultimately dropping a narrow 4-2 decision.
