DURHAM – The No. 12 Duke women's tennis team (3-1) hits the road for the first of three straight dual matches, beginning with a trip to Greenville, S.C. for a matchup with the Furman Paladins on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m.
All eight players – No. 15 Chloe Beck, Karolina Berankova, Margaryta Bilokin, Kelly Chen, No. 48 Ellie Coleman, No. 73 Georgia Drummy, No. 26 Emma Jackson and Eliza Omirou – are set to take the court for the Blue Devils.
The Opponent
Furman – Record: 4-2 | All-time series: Duke leads 14-0
Furman features two ranked singles players on its 2022 roster – senior Julia Adams (No. 45) and freshman Sara Snyder (No. 65).
The Paladins are coming off a split trip at the Durham region of ITA Kickoff Weekend. Furman dropped its opening round match to then 17th-ranked Oklahoma (4-1) but was able to bounce back in the consolation match with a 4-1 victory over Nebraska.
