Our Blue is Best Challenge Kicks Off

DURHAM – Once again, Duke Athletics' Iron Dukes and University of North Carolina's Rams Club are taking the Blue Blood rivalry off the court. The "Our Blue Is Best" challenge kicks off today, Monday, February 28th, and runs through Saturday, March 5th with a year of bragging rights on the line!

"Our Blue Is Best" is a fundraising challenge to see which fan base can best support their school's student-athletes with the most dollars raised and most new members joined in the week leading up to the Duke Men's Basketball game against UNC. The Iron Dukes and Rams Club are tracking their battle daily, and you can follow along on social media by following @TheIronDukes.

Between February 28th through March 5th, we are challenging all Duke fans to make a gift of any size to prove that Duke Blue is Best! Those who give during this week will be eligible for several giveaways that will take place during the challenge.

Iron Dukes memberships start at just $100 annually. If you are not a current Iron Dukes member, you can join today at by clicking here. If you are a current member, you can be a part of the challenge by making a contribution to the Our Blue is Best Challenge here or by encouraging friends and family to join The Iron Dukes.

Here's how you can ensure our Blue is Best:

1. Make a gift of any size to the Iron Dukes Annual Fund… $20, $50, $100, etc.
2. Become an Iron Dukes Member for just $8.34 a month/$100 annually and enjoy Iron Dukes membership benefits.
3. Refer a friend! For every new member that you refer to the Iron Dukes, you will receive $100 worth of giving credit towards your Iron Dukes priority.
