DURHAM – No. 32 Duke men's tennis is set to host Coastal Carolina and Campbell on Saturday for two final non-conference matches before ACC play begins next weekend.

The Blue Devils welcome the Chanticleers on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center, before hosting the Camels a few hours later at 3 p.m. for their first outdoor match at Ambler Tennis Stadium. Parking is available in the Blue Zone.

Faris Khan sits at No. 89, while junior
Garrett Johns comes in ranked at No. 118.

HISTORY WITH COASTAL CAROLINA
Saturday's contest is the ninth all-time meeting between the two programs with Duke leading the series 8-0. All eight previous meetings have been played in Durham, including a 4-0 victory on Feb. 29, 2020, during the teams last meeting.

SCOUTING THE CHANTICLEERS
Coastal Carolina holds a 4-4 overall record but have dropped its last two contests to Charlotte and Clemson. The Chanticleers are set to face off against Campbell on Friday prior to traveling to Durham for Saturday's contest. Graduate student Bastien Huon is Coastal Carolina's lone player listed in the recent ITA rankings, coming in as the No. 116 singles player in the country. He currently sits with a 5-1 singles record and was leading both of his matches that went unfinished.

HISTORY WITH CAMPBELL
Duke also currently leads the all-time series with Campbell, 7-0. During the teams last meeting on Jan. 29, 2021, the Blue Devils claimed a 7-0 victory in Durham. Â

SCOUTING THE CAMELS
Campbell sits with a 3-2 record on the year and are coming off a 5-2 loss to Elon on Feb. 19. The Camels are set to face off against Coastal Carolina on Friday at home prior to traveling to Durham for Saturday's contest. Freshman Damien Nezar currently leads the team with a 4-1 singles mark, playing on the Camels' top court. Sophomores Pol Otin and Tomas Balazi as well as junior Robin Angles follow closely behind with three singles wins on the year. The doubles pair of Benjamin Maes and Nezar are undefeated on the season with a mark of 3-0 while playing on court two.

UP NEXT
Duke welcomes Virginia and Virginia Tech on March 4th and 6th for its first two ACC contests of the year. The Blue Devils host the Cavilers on Friday at 3 p.m., before facing off against the Hokies on Sunday at 2 p.m. Both contests are set to be played outdoors at Ambler Tennis Stadium but have the potential to move indoors should weather impact the playing surfaces.
