DURHAM – The fifth-annual Varsity Club Giving Day kicks off Tuesday, Nov. 29 with the 27-hour competition running from 9 a.m., on Nov. 29 through noon on Nov. 30.
For 27 hours, in support of our 27 varsity programs including Cheerleading and Marching Band, we challenge you to show support for your sport's Varsity Club fund.
Throughout the day, the giving day page will be updated with giving totals to track your team's progress to beat your best! The teams who beat their highest annual record will win additional funds for their Varsity Club Fund with special prizes for the top three winners.
Varsity Club funds go directly to each program, and they are used to enhance the student-athletes' experience. Funds are used by each program for their specific programmatic needs and have been used for things such as the renovation of facilities, leadership seminars and state-of-the-art technology. By supporting your sport's Varsity Club fund, you are directly aiding your team.
