DURHAM – Two billboards in the Durham area will feature Duke men's basketball head coach
Mike Krzyzewski beginning Monday, Jan. 24 as part of ESPN's "No Place Like Sports" campaign.
The billboards, which will be unveiled along U.S. 15-501 at the Hillsborough Road Exit and near the Guess Road exit off of Interstate 85, each display Krzyzewski coaching the Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium and include the line, "Where else are four decades defined by one letter?"
In recognition of Coach K's 42nd and final season as head coach at Duke, the billboards are part of an ESPN advertising campaign to celebrate sports and the togetherness they bring. Krzyzewski joins NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, American long distance and former University of North Carolina runner Shalane Flanagan, and the NHL's Seattle Kraken with billboards in their home markets as part of the "No Place Like Sports" campaign.
Krzyzewski and the No. 6 Blue Devils (15-3, 5-2 ACC) host Clemson at Cameron Indoor on Tuesday, Jan. 25. The game tips at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
