DURHAM — Members of the Duke women's tennis team recently took time away to catch up with Blue Devil Network for a "Get to Know You" segment for GoDuke.com.
The seventh Blue Devil to participate is sophomore
Georgia Drummy, who hails from Dublin, Ireland. She was recently named All-ACC for the first time in her career, after collecting a season-best No. 19 ranking by the ITA. She moved up following the first top-10 victory of her collegiate career, defeating No. 9 Natasha Subhash, 6-4, 6-1, in the ACC Tournament quarterfinal against Virginia. Drummy has now won six of her last seven singles matches, including three straight wins over ranked opponents.
Duke (15-6) will face Alabama in the first round of the NCAA Team Championship Friday, May 7 at 3 p.m. ET.
