Meible Chi earned third team accolades.
Beck received All-ACC honors for the first time in her collegiate career, following a successful sophomore campaign. The Watkinsville, Ga., product has stepped into a larger role this season and thrived, going 17-4 with a 9-2 mark in ACC play. Her season was headlined by a 3-2 record against ranked singles players, including a thrilling victory over North Carolina's No. 6 ranked Cameron Morra on March 19, winning, 6-7 (4-7), 6-0, 1-0 (12-10). Beck has also played a part in one of the top doubles teams in the nation, forming a formidable duo with
Karolina Berankova, going 15-3 overall and 6-2 in conference play to check in as the No. 9 team in the country.
Chen has been named an All-ACC honoree for the third time, after previously earning second team distinctions in 2018 and 2019. The Cerritos, Calif., native has navigated the grueling demands of the top singles position in the lineup, occupying it for most of the season and going 10-11 and 6-7 in the ACC. Chen earned a standout victory over Florida State's No. 27 Giulia Pairone on March 6, taking the match 6-3, 6-1. She has been very impressive in doubles collecting a 16-6 overall and 8-2 league mark.
Drummy joins Beck as a first time All-ACC recipient, to cap off an impressive stretch of play. The Dublin, Ireland native recorded a sterling 2021 season, collecting a 17-4 overall and 8-2 ACC record, while going 14-4 with a 6-1 ACC mark in doubles with Chen. The redshirt sophomore is playing some of her best tennis of the season, winning six of her last seven singles matches, including three straight wins over ranked opponents. One of those wins was her first victory over a top-10 opponent, defeating last week's No. 9 Natasha Subhash, 6-4, 6-1, in the ACC Tournament quarterfinal against Virginia.
Chi adds another honor to her decorated Blue Devil career, by becoming just the 15th player in Duke history to earn four separate All-ACC honors. Chi already became the program's all-time leader in ACC victories with 43 in her career and moved into fifth on the all-time wins list with 132. The Weston, Fla., native also added an impressive victory in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals and has been steady all season, winning a team-leading 21 matches for a 21-3 record in singles.
