GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freshman diver
Seamus Harding Jr. qualified for the 2021 Men's Swimming & Diving NCAA Championships in the platform diving event during the second day of the Zone B Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.
Harding Jr. will make his first appearance at the NCAA Championships, which will take place March 24-27 at the GAC in Greensboro. The Hillsborough, N.J., native earned qualification to NCAA's after securing an eighth-place finish in the platform at Zones with a score of 625.10.
Two other Blue Devils reached the finals of events during the second day of Zones. On the men's side, junior
Harel Anolick placed 15th in the platform event with a score of 543.75. For the women, sophomore
Kate Mullin placed 15th in the three-meter, scoring a 544.75.
Duke will wrap up the Zone B Diving Championships on Tuesday in Greensboro as the men are scheduled to take on the one-meter competition while the women will dive on the platform.
