Pendaries Moves into PGA TOUR University Top 15

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – On the heels of his top-three finish at the Sea Best Invitational at TPC Sawgrass – Dye's Valley, Duke senior Adrien Pendaries improved to No. 15 in the PGA TOUR University Ranking released Wednesday. The U Rankings will be used for membership to the PGA tours following the college golf season.
Pendaries debuted at No. 62 in the U Ranking at the start of the spring season, but the native of France improved to 35th after his T15th at the Camp Creek Invitational and jumped another 20 spots after his impressive showing last week at the Sea Best where he carded rounds of 70, 69 and 71 on the par-70 course to finished third overall.
By moving into the top 15, Pendaries is now inside the bubble as players vie for membership on Korn Ferry Tour, Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada or PGA TOUR Latinoamérica. The ranking will be finalized after the NCAA Championship, where the top five finishers will earn membership on Korn Ferry Tour, and players finishing 6th through 15th will earn membership on Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada or PGA TOUR Latinoamérica.
Florida State's John Pak continues to lead the latest rankings. Pak and Pendaries are the lone ACC representatives in the top 15.
Led by Pendaries' 70.83 scoring average this season, Duke is back in action Feb. 19-21 at the Seminole Intercollegiate at the Golden Eagle CC in Tallahassee.
