MOBILE, Ala. – Duke University women's golf senior
Gina Kim earned her 2022 LPGA Tour card on Sunday, after closing two weeks of action at LPGA Q Series, which was played at Magnolia Grove Crossings and Falls Courses in Mobile, Ala.
Kim, a product of Durham, N.C., was one of 46 golfers to receive their card, including one of only four amateurs.
During week one, Kim carded rounds of 70, 72, 71 and 73 for an even-par, 286, which was tied for 52nd. She opened the second week on fire with a 66 and 70, before closing with rounds of 71 and 76 to finish with a 5-under, 569.
Na Rin An won the event with a 33-under-par, 541, while Pauline Roussin-Bouchard was second with a 32-under ledger.
Lindy Duncan, a 2013 Duke graduate, had carded three straight rounds of 70 to open the second week of action at Q Series, but closed with a 76 on Sunday to slide down the leaderboard. She finished tied for 53rd overall with a 1-under, 573. Duncan will receive Symetra Tour status for the 2022 campaign.
Duke will feature Celine Boutier, Leona Maguire, Brittany Lang, Yu Liu,
Ana Belac and Kim on the LPGA in 2022.
