- The Blue Devils are in the midst of a five-game-in-10-day homestand that caps Monday night vs. The Citadel. Following that game, Duke won't return to Cameron Indoor Stadium until Dec. 14.
- Duke is coming off a win over Gardner-Webb Tuesday night that saw six Blue Devils reach double figures. Duke's 92 points scored, 52 points allowed and 10 three-pointers were season bests.
- Through four games, Duke is holding opponents to just .374 from the field, .263 from three-point range and averaging 9.3 steals per game. Duke has forced opponents to 60 turnovers, and is more than doubling up the opponents in points-off-turnover scoring (76-33).
- Junior Wendell Moore Jr., who recorded the program's fifth triple-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the Army win, is averaging 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and a team best 5.3 assists.
- Moore is second in the ACC in assists and has multiple assists in 16 consecutive games dating back to last season.
- This week's ACC Freshman of the Week, Paolo Banchero is leading Duke in points (17.0), rebounds (8.5) and field goal percentage (.625).
- Over the last nine seasons, Banchero is the 19th different Blue Devil to win the ACC Freshman of the Week award. In that time, a Duke freshman has won in 65 of a possible 137 weeks.
- Freshman Trevor Keels keyed the Gardner-Webb victory with a game-high 18 points on 4-of-6 from three-point range. The freshman logged career highs in rebounds (seven) and assists (four).
- Keels has hit a three for Duke's first points in three straight games.
- Keels is ranked fifth in the ACC in assist/turnover ratio (+4.00) and as a team, Duke ranks second in the ACC in that category (+1.64).
- Duke has made nine more free throws than the opponents have attempted this season (45-36). Of the 36 attempts, just 13 have come in the first half. Duke is committing 12.8 fouls per game -- second fewest in the ACC and 36th fewest nationally.

The brief basketball history between Duke and Lafayette includes just one previous meeting -- that coming Jan. 10, 1977 at Cameron Indoor Stadium when the Bill Foster-coached Blue Devils won 93-77…Tate Armstrong scored 28 in the game, while Jim Spanarkle added 18 points and seven steals and Mike Gminski scored 14…
Mike Krzyzewski has not faced Lafayette as Duke's head coach, but battled the Leopards five times as Army's head coach (1-4).

Lafayette has opened the season 0-3, including a 96-63 setback at Syracuse to open the season…The team's non-conference slate includes three power conference opponents in the first five games -- at Syracuse, Duke and Rutgers…The Leopards were 9-6 last season, falling in the Patriot League quarterfinals to Bucknell. ..Fran O'Hanlon is in his 27th year as Lafayette's head coach.
