Kara Lawson met with the media virtually as the 2021-22 season gets set to open in less than three weeks.
The Blue Devils added nine new student-athletes to go along with five returners and the excitement of the upcoming season is building in Durham. Duke's roster includes five players who were McDonald's All-Americans, six who were Jordan Brand All-Americans and seven who represented their respective countries as members of junior or senior national teams in FIBA tournaments.
Duke fans will get their first look at the Blue Devils on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m., with an exhibition contest against Wingate in Cameron Indoor Stadium. On Tuesday, Nov. 9 Duke will open the regular season by hosting Winthrop at 7 p.m.
