DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's tennis team closed out its Winter Classic Tuesday with three singles victories and one doubles win in the individual competition against Tennessee.
Duke and Tennessee played five courts of singles and one court of doubles as
Chloe Beck and
Karolina Berankova defeated Tenika McGiffin and Daria Kuczer (6-3).
Senior
Kelly Chen secured a 6-4, 6-4 win over Rebeka Mertena just before graduate student
Meible Chi outlasted Callie Creath (7-6 [1], 6-2).
Junior
Margaryta Bilokin was next to finish for the Blue Devils against Carly Briggs and came away with a 6-3, 6-3 victory.
