Adams to Miss 2020-21 Campaign with Knee Injury

DURHAM, N.C.— For the second straight year, Duke University senior Jayda Adams will be sidelined, after suffering another knee injury while home over summer break. She retore her ACL from a year ago and had ACL revision surgery recently.
Adams last saw action in 30 contests during the 2018-19 campaign, while making two starts. She averaged 3.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists. Adams, who hails from Irvine, Calif., drained 21 three-pointers and a 36.8 percentage.
Over two seasons, Adams has played in 63 contests and sank 32 three-pointers.
She is expected to graduate in May with a degree in psychology, while obtaining a markets and management certificate.
