DURHAM, N.C.— For the second straight year, Duke University senior
Jayda Adams will be sidelined, after suffering another knee injury while home over summer break. She retore her ACL from a year ago and had ACL revision surgery recently.
Adams last saw action in 30 contests during the 2018-19 campaign, while making two starts. She averaged 3.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists. Adams, who hails from Irvine, Calif., drained 21 three-pointers and a 36.8 percentage.
Over two seasons, Adams has played in 63 contests and sank 32 three-pointers.
She is expected to graduate in May with a degree in psychology, while obtaining a markets and management certificate.
