DURHAM, N.C.— California natives Chelsea Gray and Vanessa de Jesus got together recently via a zoom call. Gray, a 2014 Duke graduate and current member of the Los Angeles Sparks, provided some advice to the incoming freshman guard as de Jesus will join the Blue Devils in August. Â
Gray had previously coached de Jesus on the AAU circuit. The duo chatted about the Cameron Crazies, the Duke-UNC rivalry, WNBA life and The Duke effect.
