DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke football team had four players selected for membership in the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society announced on Wednesday by the organization.

Representing the Blue Devils were Quentin Harris,Tre Hornbuckle,Koby Quansahand Julian Santos.
Duke has now placed at least four players on the NFF Hampshire Honor Society in eight of the last nine seasons.

The 2020 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is celebrating its 14th year, is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. An impressive 1,432 players from 364 schools qualified for membership.

In 35 career games, Harris completed 250-of-438 (.571) pass attempts for 2,588 yards and 24 TDs against 12 INTs, while rushing 238 times for 785 yards (3.30) and 14 TDs. The Wilton, Conn., native compiled 3,373 yards of total offense and held a career TD responsibility total of 38. The quarterback accounted for multiple TDs in nine career games, with a career-best performance coming against North Carolina A&T when he recorded four passing and one rushing score. Harris finished 19th all-time on Duke's career passing yards chart, while his career passing touchdown mark placed him tied for 10th. The two-time Academic All-ACC selection graduated from Duke in May, 2019, with a public policy studies degree, economics minor and certificate in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Hornbuckle saw action in 49 career games, making 20 starts as a defensive end. He had 128 tackles, 21.5 TFL, 6.0 sacks, three caused fumbles, one fumble recovery, one PBU and 11 QB pressures to his name during his Duke tenure. The Murray, Ky., native owned 16 games with 3+ tackles, including a career-high 12 stops against Army West Point in 2017. Hornbuckle tallied multiple TFL in six games with a career-high 3.5 versus N.C. Central in 2017. The three-time recipient of the program's Sonny Falcone Iron Duke Award and two-time Academic All-ACC selection graduated from Duke in December, 2019 with a degree in sociology and a certificate in markets and management.

Quansah lettered four seasons (2016-17-18-19) with the Blue Devils, appearing in 47 career games. The product of Manchester, Conn., compiled 207 tackles, 21.0 TFL, 3.5 sacks, two caused fumbles, three fumble recoveries, four PBU and 13 QB pressures. He finished with double-digit tackles in nine games, including a career-high 13 stops against Army West Point in 2017 and Virginia Tech in 2019. The linebacker had 19 games with 5+ tackles and failed to record at least one tackle in just six contests throughout his career. Quansah graduated from Duke in December, 2019, with a degree in psychology and a certificate in markets and management.

Santos saw action in 42 games, making 13 starts during his Duke tenure. Throughout his four-year career as an offensive lineman he helped the Blue Devil offense to numerous accolades, including accumulating 382 points, the fourth highest single-season total in program history, and a program record 31 touchdown passes in 2018 alone. Last season he was part of an offensive line unit that ranked fifth in the ACC in sacks allowed and 15th nationally in tackles for loss allowed. Santos will graduate from Duke in May, 2020, with a degree in visual and media studies and a certificate in policy journalism and media studies.
