DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke men's basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski will meet the media today at 1 p.m. ET to preview Saturday's game at North Carolina -- the 252nd playing of the Duke-UNC rivalry. Coach K's press conference will be carried live on ACC Network Extra beginning at 1 p.m.
This season marks the 100th anniversary of the first Duke-UNC game, which occurred on January 24, 1920 -- a 36-25 win for the Tar Heels in Durham. The last 100 games of the series have been split 50-50 by each team, with Duke and Carolina each scoring 7,746 points in those games.
Saturday's game at the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill tips at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN.
