Meet Duke Assistant Coach Tia Jackson
Our next assistant coach we caught up with is Tia Jackson, who owns 24 years of collegiate experience, including four years of head coaching experience. Jackson spent the last five seasons at Miami where she helped the Hurricanes to four straight NCAA Tournament appearances and 109 wins. Jackson makes Durham, N.C., home for a second time as she spent the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons at Duke as an assistant coach, helping the Blue Devils to 63 victories and a trip to the 2006 NCAA championship game. Gray and her team defeated No. 8 Cadi La Seu, 71-50, in the Spanish Liga Dia. Gray had 10 points, four boards, and four assists in 22 minutes.Â

Mathias and Empoli defeated No. 12 Lucca, 83-79, in the Italian Serie A1. Mathia recorded d15 points and seven rebounds in 24 minutes.Â
Angela Salvadores, '16
Salvadores led Besiktas to a 77-66 victory against Adana Basket with 19 points, four rebounds, and six assists.Â
Elizabeth Williams, '15
Despite a double-double from Williams with 21 points and 12 rebounds, her team fell to Nesibe, 69-68.
