DUKE VS. VIRGINIA TECH...
Duke is unbeaten against Virginia Tech over the last four matches with a 3-0-1 mark and holds a 12-4-2 overall series record versus the Hokies. In the overall series, Duke has outscored Virginia Tech, 39-18.
In matches played in Durham, N.C., the Blue Devils are 8-1-1. In the previous two meetings in Durham, Duke outscored Virginia Tech by a combined 5-0 ledger.

FIRST CAREER GOAL...
Rookie
Olivia Migli found the net at the 30:20 mark in Duke's last match against third-ranked Clemson to notch her first career goal. Prior to Migli's goal, Duke was held scoreless for 278:20 minutes, dating back to the second half against Virginia on Sept. 17.
She has come off the bench in four of the five matches and owns seven shots on the season, which ranks second on the Duke squad.

Olivia Migli attended Battlefield High School with Tori Powell of Virginia Tech. She's also very good friends with Victoria Haugen, who she was teammates with for eight years.

COSME DOING IT ON BOTH ENDS...
One of the leaders on defense for the Blue Devils,
Caitlin Cosme, is now becoming one of the top goal scorers for Duke. Cosme collected Duke's first goal in each of the first two contests for the Blue Devils.
She notched a header off a corner kick at Wake Forest to give Duke a 1-0 lead early. Cosme then finished the equalizer against Virginia in the second half off a free kick to send the Blue Devils to a draw with the Cavaliers.
Cosme has tallied three career goals in 33 games, while attempting 10 shots.
She was selected to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week this week. She also earned the honor on Sept. 22.
NABET MAKES FIRST START OF SEASON...
Senior captain
Lily Nabet made her first start of the 2020 season against Clemson, while seeing action in 47 minutes. She has played in the last two matches, after missing two contests with an injury.
Nabet owns 27 career starts in 49 matches for the Blue Devils over four years.
BYE KOSKINEN...
Friday's contest against Virginia Tech will be Duke's last home match of the 2020 fall campaign. After the match, the Blue Devils will hit the road for five straight road games -- Boston College, Syracuse, North Carolina, Florida State and Miami.
Duke is closing a streak of five straight home contests.
GRAHAM MOVES TO FORWARD...
After playing the last two seasons on the defensive end and even earning All-ACC honors for the position, Duke head coach
Robbie Church moved junior
Delaney Graham to the forward slot against UNC to try to capitalize on her speed and create more offense.
Graham nearly made a splash in the first two minutes with a great chance at a goal that was saved by UNC. She led Duke with three shots and was very impressive overall creating offense for the Blue Devils.
It marked the first time since her junior year of high school Graham played up front. That season for Westminster Schools, Graham notched 20 goals and 12 assists.
AT HOME IN KOSKINEN STADIUM...
Over the last four years at home in Koskinen Stadium, the Blue Devils have registered a 22-3-9 record. During that streak, Duke has outscored its opponents by a 98-22 ledger.
SLOW START IN CONFERENCE PLAY...
Duke opened league play with a 0-1-2 mark over the first three matches, before knocking off third-ranked Clemson this past Sunday. It was the first time since 2015 the Blue Devils had gone winless to open ACC action through three matches.
In 2015, Duke started 0-2-2, but closed strong to finish with a 4-3-3 record in the ACC.
OVERTIME AGAIN...
For the first time in school history, Duke opened the season with three straight overtime matches. Dating back to last season, the Blue Devils have featured 11 overtime contests out of 23 matches.
Over the last two seasons, Duke's 11 overtime matches are the most in the ACC -- Duke (11), Wake Forest (9), Virginia (8), Pitt (8), NC State (6), Notre Dame (3), North Carolina (3), Miami (3), Virginia Tech (3), Louisville (2), Boston College (2), Syracuse (2) and Florida State (0).
