Getting to Know Kara Lawson…
We've asked our new head coach, Kara Lawson, some fun questions to get to know her better. Each week in the notebook, we'll share one of her answers!
What's your favorite motivational quote?
"I like a lot of them so I don't have one. I think it really just depends on where you are. Motivational quotes for me, personally, tend to speak to me depending on what trial or tribulation I'm in at the moment, what frame of mind I'm in, what station in life I'm in. A quote can hit you square between the eyes when you're going through something, and then when you're out of it, it gives you a memory but it doesn't resonate as powerfully as something two years ago maybe did. So I feel like I bounce around with a lot those but definitely enjoy reading to them or listening to them."
