The Blue Devils opened ACC action with an 85-73 victory over Boston College. Haley Gorecki collected a game-high 27 points, while Leaonna Odom added her second double-double of the season with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Freshman Azana Baines came off the bench to register a career-high 15 points in 20 minutes.
Duke Falls at Nebraska in Big Ten/ACC Challenge...
In a tight road contest, Duke dropped an 83-79 decision at Nebraska in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Wednesday. Leaonna Odom registered 20 points and seven rebounds, while Miela Goodchild added 15 points as she drained three three-pointers.
Gorecki Registers 1,000 Career Points...
Haley Gorecki became the 35th Duke player in school history to register 1,000 career points in the Boston College game. In only 77 games, she was the 10th quickest in Blue Devil history to reach the mark.

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) has selected 35 student-athletes for its 2019-20 Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Watch List with Duke graduate Haley Gorecki and senior Leaonna Odom listed. Members of the association's board of directors chose the players to be included on the list as contenders for the National Player of the Year.
