Setting the Scene...
   Duke (4-2) will host Davidson (4-2) and Penn (4-0) in women's basketball action over a span of three days this week in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Blue Devils will welcome Davidson Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m., followed by Penn Friday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m.
   The games will be aired live on ACC Network Extra. It will also be carried on the Duke Sports Network via WDNC AM 620, TuneIn app and www.GoDuke.com with Chris Edwards (PXP). Edwards will open the Davidson broadcast at 6:45 p.m., while Penn will start at 12:45 p.m.
What is Next?...
   Duke will be off for the weekend, before traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska for a Big Ten/ACC Challenge contest with Nebraska Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m., live on the Big Ten Network.
Three Keys...
   1)
Haley Gorecki was named ACC Co-Player of the Week, after averaging 26.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocked shots against Idaho State and Troy. It marked her first weekly honor of her career.
   2) Duke will play its fourth contest over the last 11 days, while hosting two games in three days with Davidson and Penn.  Â

Leaonna Odom has averaged 16.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals. She has hit 58.3 percent of her field goals.

Haley Gorecki leads the Blue Devils with 38 free throw attempts and is hitting 86.4 percent from the charity stripe. The 38 free throws made leads all power five conferences and ranks fifth nationally. Â
   •   After going three games without hitting the 60-point mark, Duke has averaged 92.0 points a game over the last two games. This included a season-high 99 points against Troy.

Jada Claude made her first collegiate start versus Idaho State, while sophomore

   •   Duke will feature almost a 3-inch height advantage over Davidson, when the two teams hit the hardwood Wednesday. The Wildcats feature a 70.88 average height, while Duke owns a 73.21 mark. The Blue Devils are the tallest team in the ACC in 2019-20.
   •   The 93 points in the season opener was the third-most by a Duke team under the direction of head coach
Joanne P. McCallie -- 104 in 2009-10 and 98 in 2016-17.
   •   Duke features the fourth-tallest squad in school history standing with an average height of 73.21. The three tallest teams were in 2016-17 (73.38), 2011-12 and 2014-15 (73.25).

The Series with Davidson...
   Duke hosts Davidson in the fifth meeting between the programs with the Blue Devils leading the series, 3-1. Over these four games, Duke has averaged 83.8 points per game while Davidson has averaged 53.5 points.
   The Blue Devils enter the game with a three game winning streak over the Wildcats, most recently winning 89-69 at home in 2004.
   Coach P was victorious in her only previous match-up with Davidson, which came in 2003 during her time as Michigan State head coach.
Duke Versus the Atlantic 10 Conference...
   Duke enters the match-up with a formidable 26-7 record against Atlantic 10 Conference opponents – Davidson (3-1), Dayton (0-1), Duquesne (1-0), George Mason (3-0), George Washington (1-1), La Salle (0-1), Massachusetts (1-0), Rhode Island (1-0), Richmond (6-1), St. Joseph's (4-1), and VCU (6-1).

   Duke sophomore
Miela Goodchild will go up against three Australian student-athletes when the Blue Devils take on Davidson Wednesday.
   The Wildcats feature Suzi-Rose Deegan, Cassidy Gould and Adelaide Fuller from Australia.
   Goodchild played against Deegan, with Gould at the Oceana Championship and trained with Fuller. Â
The Series with Penn...
   Duke and Penn will meet for the fourth time in school history with Duke leading the series, 3-0. Â
   Duke has an average margin of victory of 15.7 points over the three wins. Their most recent game was played in 2016, with Duke emerging victorious on their home court, by a score of 68-55.
   Coach P is 2-0 against Penn, both games being played while she was at Duke.
Duke Versus the Ivy League Conference...
   Duke owns an 11-0 record against the Ivy League Conference – Dartmouth (1-0), Harvard (3-0), Pennsylvania (3-0), Princeton (3-0), Yale (1-0).
   Coach P is 8-0 through her career against the Ivy League, and 2-0 during her time at Duke, both games being played against Penn.
From the Charity Stripe...
   Duke has drained 58-of-75 free throws over the last two contests for a 77.3 percentage. Duke hit 31-of-41 attempts against Troy and sank 27-of-34 attempts versus Troy. The Blue Devils have made an ACC-best 109 free throws and attempted an ACC-best 150, while hitting 72.7 percent from the line. The percentage ranks fourth in the league.
   Duke's 109 attempts and 150 make rank second among power five schools.
Gorecki Goes Off for Career High...
   Graduate
Haley Gorecki collected a career-high 30 points in the victory over Idaho State. She hit 7-of-11 field goals, 3-of-4 from downtown and a career-high 13 free throws on 15 attempts. Â
   She scored 20 of her points in the second half. Gorecki's 13 free throws made was tied for the sixth most in a single game in Duke history. Â
   The 30 points was the second-most scored by an ACC player this season.
Big Second Half for Miela...
   Sophomore
Miela Goodchild matched a career-high 26 points against Troy, which was her first 20 or more points output of the season.
   She notched 23 of her 26 points in the second half, including a Duke record 16 in the fourth quarter.   It marked her fourth 20-point game of her short career. Â
   Goodchild finished 7-of-11 from the field and 5-of-8 from downtown. She added three assists and four rebounds.
Duke's Gorecki Moving Up Charts...
   Over her career, graduate
Haley Gorecki owns 121 three-pointers made and is 12 away from moving into 10th on Duke's all-time charts.
   She would move into a tie for 10th along with Kira Orr (1994-97), who totaled 133.
   Gorecki already ranks 10th on the Blue Devil three-pointers attempted list with 377, after recently passing Lexie Brown (369). Â

Swat Club...
   Through six contests, Duke currently ranks fourth in the ACC with a 5.5 blocks per game average. Eight different Blue Devils have blocked at least one shot on the season, led by
Onome Akinbode-James with eight. Â
   Akinbode-James ranks tied for 10th in the league with a 1.3 per game average, while Gorecki is 15th (1.2).

Haley Gorecki has moved into the top 20 in the ACC stats in the following categories -- points (4th, 18.2), rebounds (T18th, 7.0), assists (T11th, 3.2), free throw percentage (5th, 86.4%), blocks (15th, 1.2) and minutes played (7th, 34.4). Â

Haley Gorecki continues to move closer to the 1,000-point mark as she is only 61 points shy of becoming the second Blue Devil this season to reach 1,000 points and the 35th overall Duke player to hit the mark. Â
