DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's tennis team is set for the 2019 ITA Regional Championships Oct. 24-28, which is hosted by Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The regional doubles champions, regional singles champions and finalists qualify for the season-ending Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
The entire squad will be representing the Blue Devils beginning Thursday as
Chloe Beck,
Margaryta Bilokin,
Kelly Chen,
Meible Chi,
Summer Dvorak,
Ema Lazic and
Hannah Zhao are set to take the court.
Lazic will kick competition off in qualifying singles Thursday at 9 a.m., and looks to continue her strong start to the fall with an already 3-0 singles record. Bilokin, Chen, Chi, Dvorak and Zhao will also compete in singles with Chen boasting the best singles record of the fall season, 6-3.
Duke will also send three doubles teams into action with
Chloe Beck/Chen, Chi/Dvorak and Bilokin/Zhao pairing up.
Following the ITA Regional this weekend, Duke will stay local for the Kitty Harrison Invitational Nov. 1-3 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
