The Duke women's basketball team kicked off the season last week with the team's first official practice. The Blue Devils were on the court by 7 a.m., ready to prepare for the upcoming season.

Coach P Speaks at the 2019 Melanoma Action Committee Fall Conference
Head coach Joanne P. McCallie spoke out about her fight with melanoma last week at the 2019 Melanoma Action Committee Fall Conference. Duke is excited to announce its annual Polka Dot Mama Melanoma Awareness game will be held December 8 against Boston College.

Lindsey Harding with the Sacramento Kings
As the NBA preseason is underway, so is Lindsey Harding's first season as an assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings. Harding traveled with the team to India to participate in the first ever NBA India Games. Harding is one of the few women coaching in the NBA.

The WNBA Finals went all the way this year with the Washington Mystics taking home the glory in a Game 5 win over the Connecticut Suns. Duke graduate Jasmine Thomas had two points, three boards, and six assists in the Suns' search for a championship title.
