Beck Falls to No. 14 Lahey in ITA Semifinals
TULSA, Okla. – Rookie Chloe Beck's run at the 2019 ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) All-American Championships came to an end Saturday in the semifinals of the main draw.
Beck fell to No. 14 Ashley Lahey of Pepperdine (6-3, 6-3) to end her impressive run as a freshman.
Beck was originally placed in the qualifying singles draw and worked her way into the main draw by defeating six ranked opponents.
Duke will return to action for the ITA Regionals Oct. 24-28 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
