
Furman Marches on with Two More Wins

TULSA, Okla. – Junior Spencer Furman will continue his run at the Saint Francis ITA Men's All-American Championships by securing two more victories on Sunday. Furman's wins advanced him out of the prequalifying rounds and into Monday's qualifying draw.
Furman defeated N.C. State's Michael Ogden 6-2, 6-3 in the prequalifying Round of 64. The Seattle, Wash., product earned his advancing victory by downing Arkansas' Alex Reco 6-7, 6-3, 6-4 in the Round of 32.
Senior Catalin Mateas and junior Nick Stachowiak will join Furman on Monday in the qualifying rounds. Mateas takes on Illinois' Zeke Clark, Stachowiak faces Ohio State's Tim Seibert and Furman goes up against Adrian Ortiz of Texas in the Round of 128.
Mateas and Stachowiak will start the doubles qualifying draw Monday with a Round of 64 match versus Texas' Ortiz and Leo Telles.
