DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's tennis team will continue its fall campaign Nov. 2-4 at the 15th-annual Kitty Harrison Invitational. Traditionally held in Chapel Hill, N.C., in the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center, the Blue Devils will host several matches in the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center due to impending weather affecting the area.
Set to take the courts for the Blue Devils will be senior No. 84 Kaitlyn McCarthy, junior No. 31 Meible Chi and sophomore No. 12 Kelly Chen.
Duke doubles action will begin at 9 a.m., Friday against William & Mary before a 10:30 a.m., match against East Carolina. Singles will start at 12:30 p.m., against Michigan.
Chi owns a 6-2 overall ledger thus far this fall while McCarthy and Chen have played to a 4-3 and 2-1 record, respectively.
Named in honor of former North Carolina head coach Kitty Harrison, the event features 17 teams from throughout the country, including ACC squads North Carolina, NC State and Virginia.
