DURHAM, N.C. – With fall camp in the rearview mirror, Blue Devil Network returned to one of its favorite destinations for the third straight year with this season's Cold Tub Chronicles. The 2017 episode features redshirt senior center Austin Davis and Blue Devil Network's Dave Harding in the chill.
A native of Mansfield, Texas, Davis was elected as a team captain last weekend. He is a preseason All-ACC selection by Athlon Sports (2nd team) and Phil Steele's College Football Preview (4th team) as well as a candidate for the Rimington Trophy and Rotary Lombardi Award. In 25 career games (12 starts), Davis has played 996 total snaps. In 2016, Davis earned the program's Dan “Tiger” Hill Award as the most outstanding offensive lineman.
