DURHAM, N.C. – Playing for Duke isn't just showing up every day. It's a mindset that is captured in everything we do. It's personified in the way we play the game. This series will show you, rather than tell you, what it means to be part of this program. At the end of each video, you should walk away with one prominent thought: That's Duke Basketball.
With No. 13 Louisville in town for the 1,000th game played at Cameron, February 8, 2016 marked a true turning point for Duke who needed a spark having lost four of five in the previous month. Up by four with less than five minutes to play in the first half, the Blue Devils looked to pull away before heading into the locker room. Marshall Plumlee delivered, snaring a blocked shot and laying it in to go up 28-22 while also earning a trip to the charity stripe. Duke would go on to win by a score of 72-65, spoiling Louisville's run of 6-1 in their previous seven games.
