DURHAM, N.C. -- The NBA Draft is set to take place on Thursday, and Duke is looking to make history by sending six of its players to the league.
Head coach Mike Krzyzewski has played an enormous role in preparing his Blue Devils for the future, and he recognizes that their time spent at Duke has given them an advantage by allowing them to experience the national stage.
"I want them to become pros here," Krzyzewski said. "We're not just locally scrutinized, we're nationally scrutinized. As a result of that, they're able to take their skills, their talents to a real high level here because they have to. And they learn to be part of something bigger than themselves, to be part of a unit, to play with other outstanding players, to figure out how to win."
