Blue Devils to Close Spring Play at NC Courage

DURHAM, N.C. – In the final match of the spring season, the Duke women's soccer team will make the short trip to Cary, N.C., to face North Carolina Courage of the National Women's Soccer League Wednesday, April 5 at 6 p.m. The match will be played on field three at WakeMed Soccer Park. It will be free admission to all fans.
The Blue Devils are coming off scoring three goals on the road at the Washington Spirit over the weekend. Rising senior Imani Dorsey tallied two goals, while rising junior Kayla McCoy added a tally in her first match back from an injury she suffered in 2016.
The North Carolina Courage have seen action against Tennessee (Won, 3-0) March 25 and Wake Forest (Won, 3-1) on April 1 so far this spring, before closing action against North Carolina April 8.
Duke totaled a 15-5-3 overall record in 2016 and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals, before falling to West Virginia, 1-0. The Blue Devils will return 10 starters for 2017 and welcome one of the top recruiting classes in the nation.
