DURHAM, N.C. – Bob Harris, the Voice of the Blue Devils, is in his final season as Duke's hall of fame play-by-play announcer. Over his 40-year career, Harris has called some of the most memorable moments in Duke basketball history. Fans can relive some of these remarkable plays with episodes of Duke Basketball Classic Calls.
This week's episode features Harris' call of Chris Collins rattling in a three-pointer with five seconds left in the game to lift Duke to a 71-70 win over NC State at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh on Jan. 18, 1996. Collins and guard Jeff Capel led the Blue Devils with 20 points apiece in the victory.
