Fall Focus: Luke Kennard Kennard Bio Kennard Stats

DURHAM, N.C. - Classes are in session and the weather is starting to turn. Across the nation, college basketball players are balancing classes and conditioning with an increased workload on the court.

Summer sessions, and the grueling work that comes with them on the court and in the weight room, are in the rearview mirrior.

Fall is a time for focus.

Episode 5: Luke Kennard
Luke Kennard quietly put together a stellar freshman season in 2015-16. The Franklin, Ohio, native ranked third on the team in scoring (11.8 ppg) and shot .889 from the free throw line to tie for the third-best mark in Duke history by a freshman.

After a summer's worth of hard work both on and off the court, Kennard is bigger, stronger and faster. He is also potentially more lethal as a scorer, having refined his mid-range game and fine-tuned his stroke from the perimeter.
