DURHAM, N.C. – The NCAA released its official 2015-16 men's basketball attendance figures on Wednesday, reflecting yet another season of 100 percent capacity for Duke games at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
With a sellout crowd at each of its 18 home games in 2015-16, Duke ran its consecutive sellouts streak to 406 games.
The streak, which began on Nov. 26, 1990, is the longest active streak in terms of time in all of basketball (college or professional); the Dallas Mavericks own the longest streak in the NBA, a 663-game run that began on Dec. 15, 2001.
Cameron Indoor Stadium has continued to prove itself as one of the toughest venues in the country for visiting teams, as Duke owns a 110-7 (.940) home record this decade and a 184-15 (.925) mark at Cameron since the start of the 2004-05 season.
In 36 seasons under the direction of head coach Mike Krzyzewski, Duke has compiled a 489-62 (.887) record at Cameron. The Blue Devils have posted 11 undefeated home seasons with Coach K at the helm.
Duke has also won an NCAA-best 125 consecutive non-conference home games, a streak that dates back to Nov. 14, 2000. The next-best active streak of that nature in Division I men's college basketball is Wichita State's current 37-game non-conference home winning streak.
