Setting the Scene...
Entering a two-game homestand, the 22nd-ranked Duke women's basketball team (12-5, 1-2 ACC) will host NC State (12-5, 3-1) Thursday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Thursday's contest will be aired live on RSN-TV with Tom Werme (PXP) and Debbie Antonelli (Color) calling the action. Duke Keys...
The Blue Devils own a 152-game home winning streak against unranked opponents, 12-game winning streak versus ACC foes and a seven-game overall win streak in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The revenge factor - Duke's next two opponents are teams that defeated the Blue Devils a year ago on their home courts. NC State downed Duke (72-59) and Boston College totaled a 60-56 win.
In three straight contests, the Blue Devils notched a then season-low 50 points at Syracuse, a season-high 95 points at home against Wake Forest and a season-low 48 points at Louisville.
Duke has started 12 different players this season, which is a Blue Devil record. The previous mark was 11 in 2010-11. Wake Forest is the next closest ACC team with 10 players who have started.
Azurá Stevens currently ranks first in the ACC with a 9.1 rebound average. Only Elizabeth Williams last season (9.0) averaged 9.0 rebounds or better in a season at Duke over the last 26 years.
Storylines/Other Blue Devil Notes...
• Duke sophomore Azurá Stevens played against NC State's Ashley Williams in high school Stevens played AAU with DD Rogers for a couple of years as well.
• The Blue Devils currently rank 15th nationally in field goal percentage (46.3).
• Duke features a losing record in the ACC (1-2) for the first time since the Blue Devils dropped a Dec. 9, 2000 contest at Clemson to fall to 0-1 in the league.
• As a freshman, Rebecca Greenwell hit 72 three-pointers in 34 contests. She notched 35 treys in her first 17 contests a year ago. Greenwell has 41 treys in her first 17 games so far this year.
• Of the 65 players in the nation that are averaging 17.8 points or better, Azurá Stevens is one of only four of those that also are hitting 54.9 percent or better from the field.
• Redshirt freshman Lyneé Belton owns a team-high five charges taken on the season.
• Rebecca Greenwell drained a Duke record 14 points in the first quarter against Wake Forest and hit a Blue Devil record four treys as well. It was the most points scored in a quarter by a Duke player.
• Duke is ranked No. 22 in the Associated Press poll released Monday, which is the lowest ranking for the Blue Devils since the 1999-2000 campaign.
• Over the last five games, Oderah Chidom has averaged 9.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 steals. She has scored double-digits in three of those five contests. Chidom has hit 63.3 percent of her field goals during the stretch.
• Azurá Stevens has pulled down an ACC second-best 70 offensive rebounds on the year. Her season highs of 32 points (tied), 16 rebounds (tied) and eight blocks are ACC bests.
• In the 12 games won by the Blue Devils, the squad has averaged 44.5 rebounds and a +12.1 rebounding margin. The Blue Devils have also hit 49.4 percent from the field in the wins. In the five losses, Duke has averaged 39.4 rebounds, a +1.6 rebound margin, 21.2 turnovers, 9.4 assists and hit only 25.5 percent from downtown.
• Azurá Stevens currently ranks 10th nationally in double-doubles (9), 37th in blocks (2.3), 30th in field goal percentage (54.9), 69th in rebounds (9.1) and 63rd in points per game (17.8).
• Freshman Angela Salvadores ranks 12th in the ACC averaging 3.8 assists per game. Her 3.8 average also ranks tied 20th nationally among rookies and is the second-best in the ACC.
• Azurá Stevens has registered six games with 20 or more points and one 30-point outburst so far this season. She owns 11 20-point games over her career.
• Blue Devil sophomore Azurá Stevens has 12 double-doubles over her last 23 collegiate games.
• Duke owns 55 wins in ACC action over the last four years, which leads the league -- Duke (55), UNC (43), Miami (41), Florida State (38) and Georgia Tech (35) - heading into the 2015-16 season.
• The Blue Devils returned only 96 career starts entering 2015-16 -- Rebecca Greenwell (33), Azurá Stevens (26), Amber Henson (22), Kendall Cooper (7), Oderah Chidom (6) and Mercedes Riggs (2).
• The Blue Devils feature 13 players from 11 different states/countries on the 2015-16 roster.

A Look at NC State...
NC State enters Thursday with a 12-5 overall and 3-1 ACC mark. The Wolfpack has won three straight league contests since falling at Miami.
Leading NC State so far has been Dominique Wilson (14.4 points, 35 treys), Miah Spencer (12.8 points, 5.1 rebounds), Jennifer Mathurin (11.4 points, 6.8 rebounds).
The Series with NC State...
In the series with NC State, the Wolfpack holds a 40-35 advantage against Duke, including last season's 72-59 upset over the 10th-ranked Blue Devils.
Joanne P. McCallie's squad has had the upper hand recently, however, winning nine of the last 11 games against NC State, dating back to 2008.
Duke is 18-15 all-time in Cameron Indoor Stadium, including wins in 13 straight.
Duke Players Against the Wolfpack...
Only Rebecca Greenwell and Azurá Stevens on the Blue Devil squad have totaled double-digit scoring against NC State over their career.
Greenwell tallied 16 points, but hit only 4-of-18 field goals and 2-of-11 treys. Stevens notched a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
One of a Kind...
Duke sophomore Azurá Stevens is the only player nationally currently averaging over 17.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.3 blocks a contest. Stevens owns averages of 17.8 points, 9.1 reb., and 2.3 blks.
The Blue Devils have never featured a player averaging over 18.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in a single season.
Double-Figure Streak...
Azurá Stevens has totaled the third longest double-digit scoring streak in school history with 31 in a row dating back to last year.
Chris Moreland scored double-digits in 67 straight games with Alana Beard ranking second with 40. Stevens just passed Monique Currie and Sue Harnett with 30 consecutive contests.
Stevens' streak is the longest active streak in the ACC and she is the only player in the league to score double-digits in all of their team games this year.

In those contests, Duke has hit 48.5 percent of its field goals and 35.0 percent from downtown.
Angela Salvadores has averaged 9.7 points, 4.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals, while hitting 52.5 percent of her field goals and 43.5 percent from downtown.
Azurá Stevens is averaging 20.0 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.7 blocks, 1.6 assists and 1.6 steals. She has six double-doubles in nine contests, while hitting 57.1 percent of her field goals.
