DURHAM, N.C. – The 2015-16 Duke women's basketball schedule was officially announced Wednesday, Sept. 16 as the ACC office released the schedules for all 15 member institutions. The Blue Devils will once again play a very challenging slate as head coach
Joanne P. McCallie enters her ninth year with the program.
The schedule includes matchups with 12 teams that advanced to the 2015 NCAA Tournament - Notre Dame, Florida State, Syracuse, North Carolina, Kentucky, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Louisville, Iowa State, Minnesota, Miami and Liberty. Duke will take on two No. 1 seeds from last year's tournament -- Notre Dame and South Carolina.
The Blue Devils will be showcased live on national and regional television a total of 10 times, but the number will rise over the next month. Duke has seven contests on ESPN networks and three games on the Regional Sports Network (RSN).
Duke will feature its annual Blue/White Scrimmage Saturday, Oct. 24 in Cameron Indoor Stadium, before hosting exhibition contests against Pfeiffer and St. Leo Nov. 5 and Nov. 8, respectively.
The Blue Devils will open the 2015-16 campaign on the road for the second straight season as Duke will play at the University of Pennsylvania Friday, Nov. 13 in The Palestra.
Duke will return home to host Winthrop Sunday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m., in the Cameron Indoor Stadium opener. The Blue Devils will then welcome Texas A&M (Nov. 18) and Army (Nov. 22) for home contests.
During the Thanksgiving holiday week, Duke will travel to Cancun, Mexico to compete in the Cancun Challenge against Idaho (Nov. 26), Iowa State (Nov. 27) and Texas State (Nov. 28).
In the month of December, the Blue Devils will host five games starting with Minnesota in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge Thursday, Dec. 3. A road contest against South Carolina Dec. 6 will be followed by home games Dec. 14 and Dec. 17 versus UMass and Liberty, respectively.
Prior to the Christmas holiday, Duke will travel to Lexington, Ky., as the Blue Devils take redshirt sophomore
Rebecca Greenwell home to face Kentucky Dec. 20.
Duke will close non-conference action prior to the new year, hosting Western Carolina Tuesday, Dec. 29 and UNC Wilmington Thursday, Dec. 31.
The Blue Devils feature home ACC games versus Wake Forest (Jan. 7), NC State (Jan. 14), Boston College (Jan. 17), North Carolina (Jan. 24), Notre Dame (Feb. 1), Virginia (Feb. 4), Florida State (Feb. 11) and Georgia Tech (Feb. 21).
On the road, Duke will face Syracuse (Jan. 3), Louisville (Jan. 10), Clemson (Jan. 21), Pittsburgh (Jan. 28), Miami (Feb. 7), Wake Forest (Feb. 14), Virginia Tech (Feb. 18) and North Carolina (Feb. 28).
The ACC Tournament will be held March 2-6 in Greensboro, N.C., as Duke once again faces some of the stiffest competition in the nation in league play.
For selected non-televised home contests during the week in 2015-16, the Blue Devils go back to a 7:00 p.m., tip time in Cameron Indoor Stadium. This includes the Texas A&M, UMass, Liberty, Western Carolina, Wake Forest, N.C. State, Virginia and Florida State games.

Duke has signed the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation that includes five very talented incoming freshmen, while the Blue Devils also inked Maryland transfer
