DURHAM, N.C. -- The national champion Duke men's basketball team honored its seniors Thursday, April 23, during the annual postseason awards banquet, and the Blue Devil Network was there to capture all of the emotional moments from the night. Duke's two seniors, captain
Quinn Cook and
Sean Kelly shared their thoughts, reflections and memories with the close family, friends and fans in attendance at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Cook concluded his career at Duke as one of the most proficient point guards in program history. The Washington, D.C., native set a Duke record with a 2.52:1 assist-to-turnover ratio. He set the Duke record for consecutive games with a made three point field goal, with 45, while also breaking into the top 30 on Duke's all-time scorers list, sitting at No. 28 with a career point total of 1,571. In addition, Cook became just the seventh player in Duke history to register 1,000 career points and 500 career assists.
Through hard work and perseverance, Kelly earned a spot on Duke's roster after serving as a team manager the previous three years. Kelly saw action in 10 games throughout the season, and registered two assists in his first two appearances.
