DURHAM, N.C. – In today's age of technology, teams are looking toward the use of analytic software to help develop efficient practices for game preparation.
Today's feature includes interviews with head coach Mike Krzyzewski, Duke Basketball's director of information technology Kevin Cullen and associate head coach Jeff Capel. Each delves deeper into the amount of preparation that takes place for each game through the use of cutting-edge software that assists in analysis of opponents and each Duke player's output both in practice and in games. While the analytic tool is helpful, Krzyzewski believes it still takes hard work and film study to prepare in a winning way.
The full episode of Inside Basketball with Duke's Coach K airs every Sunday at 12 noon on ABC-11 WTVD in the Triangle area and across the southeast every Saturday at 9:30 a.m. on Fox Sports South.
The weekly 30-minute program is produced by the Blue Devil IMG Sports Network.
