Quinn Cook scored double-digit points for the 17th game this season. Cook remained in 45th on Duke's all-time scorers list with 1,245 points.
• Cook's 4-of-8 (.500) shooting performance from beyond the arc extended his consecutive games with a made three-pointer streak to an ACC-leading 29. Cook's last game without at least one made three pointer came against Maryland on Feb. 15, 2014.
On the Offensive End• Duke trailed at halftime for just the second game this season. The Blue Devils are outscoring teams by an average of 10.3 points in the first half this season.
• Duke connected on seven three pointers, the 13th game this season where the Blue Devils hit seven or more shots from beyond the arc. In those contests, Duke is shooting a combined 41.4 percent (116-of-280) from three point range, winning 12 of the 13 contests when making seven or more threes.
Duke's Defense• Duke forced St. John's to commit nine turnovers, the first game this season a Duke opponent did not commit double-digit turnovers.
• Duke held St. John's to 4-of-15 (.267) shooting from beyond the arc, marking the third straight game a Duke opponent made five or fewer three pointers in a game.
Fresh Faces• For the 19th straight game, three freshmen (

• T. Jones shot 10-of-10 from the free throw line, tying him with Bobby Hurly (at Northwestern, 12/2/1989) for the third most made free throws in a game without a miss by a freshman. Jones previously made nine straight free throws without a miss against Toledo (12/29).
