DURHAM, N.C. -- Each week, GoDuke.com and the Blue Devil Network will catch up with head coach
Mike Krzyzewski to learn more about his thoughts on a variety of topics.
This week, Coach K reflects on floor slapping during his time at Duke, including its origins in the 1986 season, specifically a memorable moment in the '86 ACC Championship game against Georgia Tech. The spontaneous move has ignited Duke defenses in getting key stops and firing up the Cameron Indoor Stadium crowd over the years, including Coach K himself slapping the floor before a defensive stand against Toledo on Monday night.
The Blue Devils return to action Saturday, Jan. 3, welcoming Boston College to Cameron Indoor Stadium for a 4 p.m. tipoff. The contest is scheduled to air live on RSN.
