DURHAM, N.C.-- The Duke women's soccer program has added another standout recruiting class this year under the direction of head coach Robbie Church. This spring and summer GoDuke.com is taking a closer look at each of the 2014 incoming freshmen.
The fifth of eight signees is Morgan Reid. A native of Cary, N.C., Reid was listed No. 5 in the class of 2014 by TopDrawerSoccer.com and ranked as the No. 1 player in the South Atlantic Region and the No. 1 defender in the class of 2014. She was a 2014 NSCAA All-America and two-time NSCAA Youth Girls' All-America honoree and was named the 2014 NCSCA Player of the Year. Reid concluded her career with 58 goals and 50 assists. She was selected the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of North Carolina as a senior.
