This week's installment of the Blue Devil Vault features former Duke All-American Mike Dunleavy, who helped Duke capture the 2001 NCAA Championship. In just three seasons at Duke from 1999 to 2002, Dunleavy otaled 1,371 points (13.2 per game) and 601 rebounds (5.8 per game).
Duke won the ACC Championship every year with Dunleavy on the roster and made three consecutive trips to the NCAA Sweet 16, including the 2001 national championship run. He ranks third all-time at Duke with a .881 (111-15) winning percentage.
Dunleavy's best year in came as a junior in 2001-02 when he averaged 17.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while hitting 88-of-233 three-pointers and shooting 48.3 percent (218-of-451) from the field. He was named All-America second team and Academic All-America second team that year.
