Team Notes:
• Duke improved to 14-2 all-time against Boston College in a series that started in 1979. The win was Duke's fourth straight in the series and 12th in the last 13 meetings.
• The 25-point victory was Duke's largest margin of victory in the series against Boston College and Duke's largest in an ACC game since an 82-50 win over North Carolina on Feb. 10, 2010. It was Duke's biggest win in an ACC road game since Jan. 22, 2005, when the Blue Devils beat Florida State 88-56.
• Duke won its sixth straight ACC road game. During the Blue Devils' 58-year tenure in the ACC, they have started 6-0 in ACC road games just five times. The last time Duke started 6-0 in league road games was in 2005-06. Duke also won its first six ACC road games in 1999-2000, 1998-99 and 1962-63.
• The Blue Devils sank 10 three-pointers, giving them at least eight treys in six straight games. The Blue Devils average 8.3 three-pointers per game on the year while leading the ACC in made treys and three-point shooting percentage (.389). Duke has made at least 10 three-pointers in nine games.
• Duke hit 6-of-11 (.545) three-point attempts in the second half thanks to junior Andre Dawkins, who went 3-of-4.
• Boston College hit its first five field goal attempts, including three three-pointers, on the way to a 13-7 lead.
• After the Eagles' hot start, Duke held Boston College scoreless over the next 9:11 and without a field goal over the next 14:12. Boston College went 0-of-12 from the floor during that field goal drought as Duke went on an 18-3 run.
• Duke held Boston College to just 21 points in the first half. That is Duke's lowest opponent point total at halftime all season.
• Duke scored just 30 points in the first half, but went into the break with a 30-21 lead. That is fewest points Duke has scored in a half while still managing to enter the break with a lead this season.
• Led by 10 rebounds from senior Miles Plumlee, Duke outrebounded Boston College 45-21. The +24 rebounding margin is Duke's highest of the season. Duke has outrebounded 14 opponents this season and is 13-1 in those games.
Player Notes:
Seth Curry
• Led Duke in scoring for the fourth time in the last five games. Curry averages 21.6 points per game during that span, his best five-game streak of the season.
• Sank 3-of-4 three-pointers to improve his season three-point shooting percentage to .398. Curry has at least three treys in five straight games and is shooting .515 (17-of-33) during that span.
• Finished a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line on the night. Curry leads the ACC with a .882 (82-of-93) free throw percentage.
Andre Dawkins
• Scored 13 points while grabbing a season-high five rebounds. Dawkins hit three three-pointers in the game.
• Scored in double figures for the first time since Jan. 28. The five-game streak without scoring in double figures was his longest drought of the season. It was Dawkins' 12th time this season with at least 10 points.
• Hit a three-pointer for the 13th consecutive game. Dawkins leads Duke with 59 treys on the year.
Ryan Kelly
• Came off the bench to grab eight rebounds and dish out three assists. Kelly did not commit a turnover during his 30 minutes of court time.
Miles Plumlee
• Neared a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds. Plumlee has hauled in 38 rebounds over his last three games, averaging 12.7 boards per game during that span. Two of his six double-figure rebounding games have come in those three outings.
• Hit 3-of-5 shots from the floor. Plumlee leads Duke with a .611 (69-of-113) shooting percentage this season.
• Took the opening tip for the second time this season and won possession for Duke. Miles has won the tip in each of Duke's last two games.
Austin Rivers
• Scored in double figures for the team-leading 11th time this year. Rivers leads all ACC freshmen with 23 double-figure scoring games and 15.0 points per game.
• Rivers' 23 double-figure scoring games are tied with J.J. Redick (2002-03) for the seventh most by a Duke freshman in school history.
• Scored 12 points in the first half. Rivers has scored at least 10 points in five of his last 10 halves.
