DURHAM, N.C. - GoDuke.com's featured auction item of the day is an autographed photo of former Duke standout Gene Banks.

Banks, the 1978 ACC Rookie of the Year, helped guide Duke to the 1978 National Championship game and was a four-time All-ACC selection during his playing days. A two-time All-America selection, Banks ranks eighth on the all-time scoring list at Duke with 2,079 career points, seventh in career rebounds (985), fifth in field goals made (827), ninth in double-figure scoring games (107) and ninth in career double-doubles (37). He is one of only three Blue Devils to record a triple-double, posting 13 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists against Lehigh on Jan. 1, 1978.
