With The Duke Victory:
- Improved to 31-3 overall on the year.
- Advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the 13th time out of the last 14 years.
- Will next face third-seeded DePaul on Sunday, March 27 in the Philadelphia Regional Semifinal.
- Won its 16th straight home game in NCAA Tournament action.
- Moved its overall home winning streak in Cameron Indoor Stadium to 25 games, which is a new school record.
- Notched only its third undefeated season at home in school history (2006-07 and 2008-09) and the second under Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie.
- Snapped Marist's 27-game winning streak, which was the longest active streak in the nation heading into tonight's game.
- Improved to 45-17 overall in the NCAA Tournament.
- Won its 42nd out of the last 44 games at home versus non-conference foes.
- Improved to 17-0 at home this season, which is a new school record for home wins in a season.
- Coach P improved to 18-14 in NCAA Tournament action as a head coach.
- Improved to 13-4 overall when seeded No. 2 in the NCAA Tournament.
- Coach P will take her fifth team to the NCAA Regionals.
- Notched its 41st win over the last 15 years of the NCAA Tournament.
- Moved to 2-0 all-time against Marist and 14-1 all-time against MAAC schools.
Senior Jasmine Thomas
- Netted a team-high 17 points to go along with four rebounds, four assists and three steals.
- With her three treys made, moved into fourth place all-time on Duke's three-pointers made list (173).
- Played 38 minutes, moving into second place on Duke's all-time minutes played list with 4,038.
- Started her 118th career game, which ranks tied sixth all-time along with Lindsey Harding.
- Now has 61 three-pointers on the season to rank sixth on Duke's single-season treys list.
- With her 81 steals on the season, now ranks seventh on Duke's single-season list.
- Has played 1,101 minutes this season, which ranks eighth on Duke's single-season list.
- Started her 94th straight game.
Freshman Chelsea Gray
- Scored all 13 of her points in the second half as she hit 4-of-7 field goals, had three assists and three steals.
- Notched eight of her 13 points in the final 2:49 of the game. The freshman registered eight of Duke's final 15 points, including a 3-pointer to cut the Marist lead to one and the go-ahead free throws 22 seconds later.
Senior Krystal Thomas
- Had 10 points, eight rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes.
- Pulled down six offensive boards.
- Has pulled down 290 rebounds this season, which is four away from third place on Duke's single-season list.
Senior Karima Christmas
- Totaled 11 points, six rebounds, four steals and two assists in 26 minutes.
- Registered double-digit scoring for the third time out of the last four games and the 15th time this season.
Freshman Haley Peters
- Totaled 12 points, five rebounds in 28 minutes.
- Collected double-figure scoring for the third straight game and the fifth time out of the last seven games.
- Hit 4-of-5 field goals.
Other Duke Notes
- Duke led for a total of 6:31 in the game. Marist took a 9-8 lead with 14:49 to play in the first half and the Blue Devils did not regain the advantage until the 2:27 mark in the second stanza.
- Improved to 20-0 this season when scoring 70 or more points.
- The Blue Devils scored 71 points in the victory to become just the 13th team in the last five seasons to score 70 points or more against Marist. Duke's 71 points is the most Marist has allowed all season. The Red Foxes last allowed an opponent to score 70 points on Dec. 20, 2010 in a 78-70 win over Houston.
- Created 28 points off Marist turnovers.
- Hit 55.2 percent from the field in the second half, after hitting 32.4 percent in the first half.
- Totaled five double-digit scorers for the first time since Jan. 26 vs. Clemson.
- Outrebounded Marist, 43-28.
- Forced a season-high 20 turnovers for Marist.
- Totaled a 36-18 advantage in points in the paint.
- Had 29 points off the bench.
- Notched 12 steals marking the 25th time this year with 10+ steals.
- The five freshmen totaled 27 points, 13 rebounds and three steals.
- Has hit 193 three-pointers on the season, which ranks fifth on Duke's single season list.
- Has attempted 553 three-pointers on the year, which ranks second on Duke's single season list.
- Pulled down 21 offensive rebounds marking the 10th time this season with 20+ offensive boards.
- Trailed at the half, 31-26, marking the ninth time this season the Blue Devils have trailed at the half. Improved to 6-3 now when trailing and 6-0 at home in Cameron.
- Hit only 12-of-23 free throws.
